Saturday the 24th of October we hit the road, heading north to the newly opened West Elm store in Brisbane to take part in their terrarium building day.The day saw all stores nationwide participate in the event with a range of vessels and plants available for customers to pot on the day . We joined the team in the afternoon to assist customers at the potting station sharing tips and hints on terrarium elements, plant selection and care.Customers that joined us were able to chose from a range of beautiful vessels available in the West Elm range included faceted glass with gold and black details, brass cage terrariums and glass and wood terrariums. They were selected for their own homes as well as some creating hand made gifts for loved ones. The West Elm store at 19 Wandoo Street Brisbane is located in the beautiful James street precinct and is the largest and most recent stores in the chain to open in Australia. As well as supplying succulents for the day we also sourced greenery for their opening with hanging Ivy and philodendron, monstera, rubber trees and giant bird of paradise featuring throughout the store.  Open alongside the other stores in the Williams-Sonoma group, pottery barn and pottery barn kids it’s  definitely worth a visit.
